Mere looks at the hooks in my life
Makes me bruise the knee of my cruise
My life is full of strife
I just sit calmly and listen to the blues
Men and women chattering
I feel numb
My life is torn and confused
When from my mothers breast a suckling
I do not feel protected
Where do I go cuddling?
Am I now too big to fit into my cradle basket!!
I Am grown to the open world
Where my Mother only hopes and prays
She prays "may her dreams never grow null''
"May she surpass turbulent gates"
I Am out in the solitude of the bushes
The one with beautiful unwanted fruits
Free to pluck as it lay there rotten & languished.
I feel a connection there
Am I now like forest fruits
Beautiful yet unwanted?
I will go home and ask my mother
or perhaps mother nature
Why life and growth are so tormented!

I loved this! A beautifully penned poem. Life is a struggle, for some more that others. I particularly loved the last stanza. This is just beautiful in it's entirety.

ReplyDeleteThis poem captures the feeling of facing the world alone, unsure where to turn. I can imagine a student in a similar situation, struggling to complete a tough assignment on time and feeling overwhelmed by the complexity. In moments like that, it’s practical to do my assignment online, getting professional support to manage the workload and still submit quality work.
